Isleham River Lodge

During our stay at the River Lodge, we were delighted by the peaceful and picturesque surroundings. The fenland marina extension and nearby village provided a tranquil setting for our holiday. We were especially thrilled to spot various water birds and even a kingfisher during our walks around the area. The generous parking and upstairs balcony with stunning views added to the overall charm of the lodge. Despite the limited space around the foot of the beds, we found the accommodations comfortable and well-maintained.

We loved the apartment and its excellent location. Free Wi-Fi was supplied for guest use. Easy to get to Cambridge airport, which is 25 km away

Position was perfect! We enjoyed our stay.

As young people, we loved the fully equipped kitchen, entertainment options like TV, PlayStation, and DVDs, and the pet-friendly atmosphere.

the river lodge in isleham exceeded our expectations. the location on the water was exactly what we were looking for and the use of the boat made our stay magical. everything we needed was provided and the owner's communication and tips were superb.

We stayed at a beautiful, peaceful lodge that was incredibly comfortable and clean. It had all the basics, plus some fantastic additional extras like a Playstation, Netflix, DVDs. The location itself was stunning, especially with the heavy snowfall we experienced upon arrival. Despite the frozen river, we could still appreciate the magical setting. The lodge was perfect for our family, including our dogs, as it was secure and pet-friendly. it was an ideal location for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

The location was fine, especially when we arrived to find everything covered in a beautiful blanket of snow. Despite the chilly weather outside, the lodge itself was wonderfully warm and cozy. It was the perfect place for a family getaway, especially with our dogs. The hotel was completely secure and very pet-friendly, made our furry friends feel right at home.

I must admit, there were a couple of minor issues. The shower seemed to have a mind of its own, occasionally turning off in the middle of a shower.

We had a wonderful week-long holiday at the cozy and calming River Lodge. The accommodation provided everything we needed and was clean and warm. The bedrooms and shower were spacious, and although the lodge was a bit old, it was still in good condition. The owner's communication and tips for the area were superb, making our stay even better. With parking in front and a boat at the back, it was the perfect retreat for us. We were able to enjoy fishing and the beautiful surroundings, including the frozen river. We can't wait to come back!
